Guests from Singapore
Director Nicholas Chee, Producer Randy Ang and Scriptwriter Terence Teo will visit the festival to introduce their film Becoming Royston which celebrates its World premiere at the Cineasia Filmfestival

13.02.2007 We are back and the new website is online ...

In six weeks the sixth Cineasia Filmfestival will take place and the latest highlights of new Asian cinema can be discovered in Cologne! From first time directors to appreciated filmmakers, from heart-rending drama to mind-blowing anime the festival will once more offer an insight into the diversity and impact of Asian cinema. 

This year our audience is requested to choose their favourite film! The Cineasia Award, is endowed with 1.000 Euro and will be conferred on the first of April.

Moving to a new and bigger location, the Filmforum NRW, will reduce the struggle for seats.

As the festival is drawing closer we are busy completing this year's program. Details on films and competition will soon be published.
